x hits the spot

there have been some unexpected encounters with the x-kind the past few days... i found this blogworthy due to the fact that i was never one to believe that friendships can spring from dead relationships. i've made some failed "can we still be friends" attempts myself the past years- only to realize: why bother?
i'm not really sure why they've been emerging from their graves suddenly casting attention in my direction. i'm just being polite really, but i guess curious nonetheless. have we really all moved on? all those years of bitterness and what ifs vanished into thin air? is it really possible?! i'm all for peace and goodwill to the exkind, but the thought's making my current partner a bit queasy much to my surprise (and guilty pleasure hehe).
the conclusion to this observation (and experiment?) will be made in a month's time... so stay tuned! ;D
