back!

cough cough. that's what i've been doing all morning and late last night. i don't know what virus got to me but i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i don't come down with a flu anytime soon... so it's been three months since i dropped by blogger. actually, i have been dropping by but was just never in the mood to type up even a single line about my so-called life. the last two months have been quite life altering for me- well careerwise. i don't wanna get into details of a not-so-ideal change of circumstance, but at least i can say that now i'm completely free. so whatever happens to my career- it's all on me! time to take the driver's seat.
speaking of driver's seats, i'm due to get my license monday morning. yey. finally, after so many years of being the backseat driver i'm getting my turn to navigate and dodge reckless busses and crossing pedestrians.
what else is new? oh yah, i killed my hair. after much deliberations and pesking my bf every single day on whether i should straighten or color my locks, i just said "the hell with it" one moody day and had it flattened. and guess what?! i love it! i am such a lazy woman and it's so liberating to just wake up in the morning and barely need to comb or brush! this may be the best decision of my lifetime yet... so now that i have my super nice hair, i just realized one downfall to this- that i can't go swimming or go to the beach! darn it. i heard that from someone, but let me dig into that info just to be sure...
