what a crazy weather!

what's a poor girl to do but shuffle indoors during crazy bad weather days. i am stranded on this island city with nothing much to get busy with aside from raiding the ref and browsing through old magazines. supposed to be sweating and toiling in the kitchen lab right now getting ready for my compre exam this saturday. looks like i'd have to excuse myself from the big day. this whole exam has been dragging for months (and i've been dreading it as well), delaying my entire career. the day I get it over with, i'm certainly throwing a cocktail party!
in other "non-ranting" news, my group of girlfriends and i threw ourselves a bday bash two weeks early from the actual date. after much discussion, we ended up celebrating at uno in the morato area. the food was great and conversation lively as usual. capped the night off with caffeine overload at fleur de lys.
