it's been one hell of a july for me. but right now i feel that all that work has paid off- i finally wrapped up all i needed for our much anticipated official website! so you if you're curious, check out http://www.geocities.com/delightfolio it's a freebie site but what the heck! i'm still on a budget so that will have to do for now.what a lazy weekend! i was a bit bummed about the weather and decided to stay in and couch. i am obsessing with the flash program and tinkered with my laptop the entire day. after much frustrated attempts, i gave up and decided to leave the job to the pros. my favorite flash sites at the moment are rui camilo's (http://www.rui-camilo.com) and ami vitale's (http://www.amivitale.com/). both are excellent photographers with very different and unique styles. i love camilo's bright, modern, and clean photos geared towards more sophistacated advertising clients. his simplicity in style shows that this photographer can capture the very essence of his subjects without cluttering the frame. vitale on the other hand thrives in drama and action. i've seen a lot of works by photojourns (by hanging out too much in bookstores) and this woman, yes woman, has got balls to brave war torn countries and violent situations. i can't help but be drawn to her art and passion everytime i visit the site. every photo tells a story, of children just happy to be together, or camels basking in the desert. check it out, you'll know what i mean. these photographers just make me want to grab my cam and shoot away. oohh, i got a photo opportunity next month while enjoying the sands of bohol. stay tuned for that! :)
