the last days of disco

i used to dread the big "three-o" but in just a few days there's no stopping the unstoppable- getting older and hopefully wiser... i feel as though this year fast forwarded most of the things i wanted with life. i love the fact that i feel i'm finally on the right track. who wants to go back to being 21 totally clueless constantly wondering when life will begin scared that one will never live up to their own expectations. definitely not me. been there done that, and believe me it wasn't a pretty sight. i remember knowing exactly what jobs i did't want to do but can't quite make out what i really wanted.

on a much lighter note... i'm throwing in the towel as professional bridesmaid! yup, my job trying to catch (or avoid) bouquets is finally over. i did my last and final gig this month so that means no more free gowns for me on future weddings . i can't beat the actress in 27 dresses but let me try to remember all the bridesmaid gowns i owned.

1. a rented magenta dress
2. moss green cross back gown with a slit too high on the side
3. a very conservative yellow canary gown
4. a very fabulous rouge dress which design i personally picked but
5. a botched screaming pink j. lo gown which i still can't believe i got away with (or maybe not)
6. an olive green gown which design i deliberately altered and ended up looking like not-one-of-the-bridesmaids hahaha
